“You can always edit a bad page. You can’t edit a blank page.” - Jodi Picoult
We've all been there.
You have this important writing project that needs to be completed ASAP, but you're stuck staring at a blank screen with an overwhelming tangle of thoughts and ideas in your head.
This is a reminder that it doesn't need to be perfect right away.
Write something.
Write anything.
Write everything that's on your mind.
Then KEEP writing.
You might end up discarding half of it, but at least you'll have something to work with, something to edit and refine.
If you're brand new to writing and feeling discouraged, know that you're not alone.
Even experienced writers face some level of writer's block. The key is to get those words out by any means.
Save this quote today and look at it often, then get those words on the page.
Also, feel free to share this with someone you think could use the encouragement.
Leave a comment below about how you get past those moments of writer's block.
✨Happy writing!✨
